Job Description

Senior Manager is imposed with the following functions:

1. arranging activities on inventory receipt, storage and issuance in a warehouse in accordance with the established procedure;
2. arranging activities on getting licenses and permissions;
3. planning warehouse operations taking into account availability of minimum required balance, stock rotation, standardized stock list;
4. participating in count of inventory and items subject to strict control;
5. organizing inventory issuance and receipt, loading and unloading operations in a warehouse complying with health, safety, workplace hygiene and fire protection rules;
6. keeping a record of inventory movements;
7. organizing analysis;
8. organizing payment for received expendables;
9. participation in identification, evaluation, management and monitoring of risks within the framework of supervised direction;
10. timely and proper fulfillment of other orders of the Head of division and the University management within the framework of his/her responsibilities and powers;

Qualifications

Qualifications

Priority specializations:

- Supply chain, logistics and procurement management (preferred);

- law;

- economics

Work experience

Required work experience is defined in accordance with standard qualifications for administrative positions at the autonomous organization of education “Nazarbayev University”.

Professional skills

- knowledge of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of procurement, as well as civil, administrative, customs law, the basics of tax legislation;

- knowledge of internal regulatory documents governing the procurement procedures, the conclusion and execution (administration) of contracts at the University;

- Skills in the development of internal documents of the organization in the field of procurement;

- skills in implementing methodological guidance on procurement issues;

- the presence of the practice of working with the electronic trading platform and / or portal of public procurement;

- skills in the formation of a procurement plan, the development of tender documents, technical specifications;

- skills of preparing and conducting presentations / seminars;

- Procurement contract development skills;

- the presence of the practice of administration of contracts in the field of procurement;

- fluent in English, Kazakh, Russian;

- knowledge of MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint
