Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with all maintenance needs including resident work orders, emergency calls, preventive maintenance, amenity upkeep, and preparing vacant units.
  • Maintain property standards by keeping shops organized, managing inventory, performing light cleaning when needed, and ensuring all amenity areas remain clean and operational.
  • Support operations through accurate logging of work orders, updating databases, monitoring contractor performance, and assisting the Maintenance Manager with budget responsibilities.
  • Provide resident-focused service by communicating professionally, resolving requests promptly, delivering notices, and helping set up or clean up resident events.
  • Uphold company expectations by following policies, maintaining a clean uniform and appearance, handling complaints calmly, and prioritizing customer service at all time

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bring 1–3 years of maintenance experience with strong troubleshooting skills; refrigeration certification (Type II or Universal) required within 90 days; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Use essential tools and equipment including hand tools, testing devices, hand‑trucks, and ladders up to 40 feet.
  • Meet core physical demands such as bending, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs, and pushing/pulling up to 300 lbs on wheels.
  • Handle heavy equipment and appliances by moving 75–300+ lb appliances, laundry machines, and building materials—often up stairs or across the property.
  • Perform physically intensive maintenance tasks including repairs on special equipment (exercise machines, grills, gates, etc.) and completing upgrades like lighting or ceiling fan installs using ladders while lifting.

  • Expected pay range of $21.00/hour-$24.00/hour. You will be provided a pay rate that is in line with your skills and experience as they relate to the requirements of the job
