Job Description

Sodexo is growing! We are looking for a Food Service Worker to join our dynamic team. This position is Casual You will be offered is a great team environment, work/life balance and the ability to ensure customer satisfaction

Additional Information

These responsibilities may differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

• Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment following all organizational, client and regulatory rules and procedures.
• Inspect workstations for compliance with health and safety and food service standards.
• Wash and disinfect worktables, cupboards and appliances
• Sweep and mop floors in main kitchen and clean fridges
• Remove trash and clean kitchen garbage containers
• Unload dishwasher and place clean dishes in storage area
• Operate a variety of kitchen utensils to weigh, measure, mix, wash, peel, cut, grind, stir, strain, season and knead foodstuffs for cooking, serving and storing.
• Assist in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods, and properly stores food, utilizing knowledge of temperature requirements and spoilage.
• Set up stations with entrées, soups, salads, breads, condiments, other food products and utensils.
• Brews coffee and tea, restock other beverage areas.
• Assist patients with opening containers and cutting food when requested.
• Work on a tray line to distribute food
• Deliver and collect patient trays to their room using a census sheet.
• Supplies/Inventory related
• Record food and fridge temperatures per food safety protocols
