Avani+ Lanexang Vientiane Hotel set to open in Q2 2026 will bring contemporary style and Laotian flair to the heart of the capital, just minutes from Wat Si Saket, Vientiane Night Market, and Chao Anouvong Park. The hotel’s 197 guest rooms and suites will blend modern design with local touches, offering its guests the choice of four dining venues, including an international all-day dining restaurant, a western comfort food concept and bar, and a Southeast Asian fine-dining restaurant. Guests will enjoy Avani Spa with five treatment rooms, an Avani Fit fitness centre and studio, an outdoor swimming pool, and versatile event spaces including a ballroom for up to 320 guests.

Job Description

As Fitness Instructor, you will create a welcoming and motivating environment in our fitness center, helping guests stay active, refreshed, and inspired during their stay.

You will be responsible for guiding guests through workouts, ensuring safe use of equipment, and delivering personalized fitness experiences. Your energy, professionalism, and passion for wellness will contribute to a positive and engaging guest experience.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has a passion for fitness, and takes pride in helping others achieve their wellness goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the fitness center operations, ensuring a safe and clean environment at all times.
• Guide guests in the proper use of fitness equipment and facilities.
• Provide basic fitness instruction and personalized workout recommendations.
• Conduct fitness sessions or classes when required (e.g., stretching, functional training).
• Ensure all equipment is maintained, clean, and in good working condition.
• Monitor guest safety and respond appropriately to any health or safety concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the fitness area in line with hotel standards.
• Assist guests with inquiries related to fitness and wellness services.
• Promote a positive, energetic, and welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
• Work closely with the Spa and Recreation team to enhance overall guest wellness experiences.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma in Fitness Training, Sports Science, or related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Fitness Instructor or in a similar role.
• Valid fitness certification (e.g., personal training, group fitness) is preferred.
• Good knowledge of fitness equipment, exercise techniques, and safety practices.
• Strong communication and guest engagement skills.
• Friendly, energetic personality with a passion for health and wellness.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Basic English communication skills are required.
• Knowledge of Lao or Thai is an advantage.
