Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated A/C Supervisor to lead our HVAC team in ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of all air-conditioning and refrigeration systems across the resort. This role is vital to maintaining guest comfort, safety, and satisfaction while upholding the highest standards of a five-star luxury property.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the A/C Technicians and Handymen.

  • Plan and oversee preventive maintenance programs for HVAC equipment.

  • Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems.

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory regulations, and resort policies.

  • Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and project delivery.

  • Ensure accurate recording of maintenance logs, service reports, requisitions, and inspections.

  • Lead troubleshooting during major breakdowns and support renovation projects.

  • Train, guide, and motivate the team, ensuring high performance and adherence to service standards.

  • Control operational costs by monitoring the use of spare parts, consumables, and contractor services.

  • Provide input to engineering management on labor requirements, scheduling, and future maintenance needs.

Qualifications

 

  • 2–3 years’ supervisory experience in HVAC, ideally within a five-star luxury hotel or resort.

  • Documented technical/vocational training in air conditioning and refrigeration systems.

  • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.

  • Proven skills in diagnosing and resolving both electrical and mechanical HVAC faults.

  • Excellent communication skills in English.

  • A team player with strong leadership qualities.

  • Ability to work flexible hours.
