Anantara Xiling Snow Mountain Resort Chengdu is set to debut in October 2025, Nestled in the picturesque Dayi National Tourism Resort Area of Chengdu, Sichuan Province, merely an hour's drive from the vibrant heart of Chengdu city, lies the exquisite Anantara Xiling Snow Mountain Resort. This premier destination graces the newest 5A-level tourism enclave surrounding Chengdu, harmoniously blends adventure and relaxation through its trio of attractions: the Xiling Snow Mountain Ski Resort, Huashuiwan Hot Spring Resort Town, and Xiling Old Street, collectively crafting an idyllic escape embodying the essence of "Snow Mountain + Hot Spring".

The project is meticulously planned to feature 110 exquisite guest rooms, each ranging from 55 to 400 square meters. It provides every guest room with natural hot spring water, committed to offering each guest an exclusive, healthy, and ultra-luxurious vacation experience. Guests will enjoy an all-day dining restaurant, a Chinese restaurant and a specialty restaurant. Additionally, the hotel boasts 800 square meters of sophisticated banquet and meeting space, an entertainment center, a serene swimming pool, and a spa and wellness center to cater to the leisure and entertainment needs of our discerning guests.

Job Description

Anantara Xiling Snow Mountain Resort Chengdu is looking for an experienced leader to fill the role of Hotel General Manager in this idyllic resort. We are looking for a positive person with high standards and an ability to build a team to lead the pre-opening project and to run the business at its optimum efficiency. 

The role is primarily responsible for Hotel Management, F&B Management, Spa, Hot Spring Operations and Strata Management and offers the successful applicant onsite accommodation.

About the role:

• You will draw on your passion, initiative, drive and strategic approach to deliver a great product for our guests
• Manage the day-to-day profitability, presentation and operation of the entire property
• Manage financial forecasting, rostering, and implementing promotions to increase sales
• Developing and managing the property team to reach their highest potential
• Responsible for making strategic decisions relating to increasing RevPAR for the company through collating and analysing data as required

Qualifications

To be successful you will require the following experience:

• Both flurent in Chinese and English 
• Tertiary qualification in Hospitality/ Business Management
• Extensive operational and financial management experience within a Hotel and Food & Beverage environment
• Demonstrated strategic and operational leadership experience, with the ability to drive a culture of accountability and promote staff engagement
• A proven track record of maintaining excellent product and service standards whilst maximising revenue and minimising expenses
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain solid working relationships with guests, owners and staff
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and learning
• Ability to build, maintain and seek new opportunities / partnerships within the local market
• A positive and energetic attitude
• An infectious passion for delivering a memorable guest experience and creating loyalty of guests
