Job Description

Our Tech Solutions Specialist Experts are key to our success. The end-to-end service we offer means customers can rely on us to ensure we provide them with the right product or service – through live demonstrations, the offering of support and advice, and delivering and installing purchases. 

This opportunity would suit someone who loves technology, is customer focused and is driven to improve the whole experience. Your excellent communications skills coupled with your ability to trouble shoot problems is critical. Equally important is your proactive ‘get it done’ attitude and work ethic. 

This position will be based out of our Mt Maunganui Noel Leeming store, working Sunday - Thursday, 45 hours per week.

Qualifications

Being a field based role, it will be essential for you to have a full clean New Zealand Drivers license to have the ability to operate one of our company vehicles. You must also be entitled to legally work in New Zealand without any restrictions, for at least 24+ months.

Ideally you will have: 

  • Experience with installing and setting up technology (WIFI, TV, PC and Audio) but training will be provided to the right candidate 
  • Proven experience in a customer facing role, excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • The ability to undertake heavy lifting, climb ladders and be on your feet for long periods of time.

Any of the following would be great too but can be learned… 

  • Apple OS/IOS knowledge
  • Experience in school, enterprise or SME IT support roles 
  • Device management Knowledge 
  • Software knowledge - Jamf, Google admin and/or Microsoft admin
