Job Responsibilities:
- Works closely with Group Supply Chain; Develops and implements a local supply chain strategy, based on requirements from group and local.
- Place purchase orders with suppliers for the procurement of all operating supplies, calibration, equipment, services and engineering material required for the assigned projects from the Scouting phase through mass production.
- Monitor the status of open orders to ensure on-time delivery of all items ordered, including timely resolution, communication and mitigation of all problems.
- Expedite or defer orders as required based on schedule and/or inventory changes.
- Ensures warehouse operation activities can follow company process and stock level can meet project requirement;
- Checks and approves new suppliers, frame agreements, specifications and PCS’s and PO’s in line with authorization matrix and facilitates stakeholder decision making.
- Coordinates operation of Purchase, Logistics and Warehouse, make sure the supply chain runs smoothly and achieve the best result for projects;
- Develop, track, and report on cost reduction initiatives on a quarterly basis. Results should be clearly shown and measured against the original proposed cost reduction plan.
- Work with SCM on assigned released products to drive cost out. This involves using techniques such as tolerance loosening, component substitution, second sourcing, and leveraging CM’s purchasing power.
- Manage the overall cost of the products by obtaining the target costs from the Project Leaders and work with the suppliers to achieve the target. Ask for engineering help if spec relaxation, change of materials, or change of suppliers are needed to achieve the cost target.
- Not limited to above as projects and workload can be added per SCM Manager’s discretion.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor Degree and above, majored in Electronic Engineering, Business Management, English, Supply Chain, Logistics etc..
2. 8 Year's experience in related industry with supply chain (Purchase, Logistics, Planning, Warehouse) background, with technical and people management background is preferred;
3. Good English skills at CET-6, being able to communicate in English, both on oral and writings;
4. Good at Microsoft Office especially Excel;
5. Working in foreign companies especially American company is preferred;
6.Others: Integrity; Strong organizational and problem solving skills; Strong negotiation, communication, organization, coordination ability and high teamwork spirit; self-motivated, mature and stable.
