Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The MRE Engineering Technician is responsible for executing DET Guzik and QMT testing activities, supporting production and engineering operations through accurate data collection, analysis, troubleshooting, and tester buyoff. This role ensures test quality, equipment readiness, and timely data reporting to support continuous manufacturing performance and quality improvement.

  • Perform all types of DET Guzik and QMT testing, ensuring no delays and consistent, stable measurement results that meet Test Criteria
  • Compile and upload test data to Online SPC timely to meet expected Test TAT, and continuously update all test requests and tracking documentation
  • Conduct tester conversion buyoff, troubleshooting, and head changes as required
  • Support data package compilation for NPI, SMO, Time Slice and other requests as assigned
  • Manage reference and head issuance, inventory, screening activities, and reference generation
  • Communicate test information clearly during shift handovers to ensure continuity of operations
  • Maintain MRE lab 7S standards, comply with all safety and health regulations, and support engineering teams as directed
  • Work in cleanroom environment with rotating 12-hour shift patterns and cross-plant support as required

Qualifications

REQUIRED: 

  • Diploma or Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Technical cert, SPM or equivalent 
  • 1-2 Years working experience in manufacturing environment with machine operation, data collection & analytical skills are preferred. 

Preferred:

  • Proficient in MS Windows Software (Word/Excel/Power Point/Outlook). Macro in excel would be an added advantage 
  • Effective team player with proven relationship building & communication skills, including cross-functionally with Production, Process, Yield, and Quality.
