Job Description

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize processes on state-of-the-art plasma systems for dry-chemical structuring of optoelectronic components.
  • Lead the planning, execution, analysis, and documentation of plasma process development activities.
  • Drive continuous process improvement and contribute to next‑generation VCSEL and photodiode technologies.
  • Share expertise by training production personnel and transferring developments into international manufacturing environments.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams and related frontend engineering departments.
  • Identify and evaluate new technologies through external technology scouting to further strengthen our manufacturing capabilities.

Qualifications

What We Are Looking For

  • Completed university degree (Master’s or Diploma) in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a comparable field.
  • Knowledge of plasma technology.
  • Experience in modern semiconductor device manufacturing and/or optoelectronics.
  • Familiarity with statistical process control.
  • Independent, solution‑oriented, and responsible working style.
  • Strong teamwork skills and excellent communication abilities.
  • Proficient spoken and written English.
