Job Description

  • KIRK RD - Coordinate assigned manufacturing operations with the objective of maximizing productivity of quality products while minimizing costs.  

  • Work with laminator machine and other small equipment

  • Ensure that all processes are being followed in the completion of work tasks. 

  • Audit work processes and products to confirm production specifications are met. 

  • Maintain and updates daily production records and produces reports as necessary.  

  • Ensure that safety procedures are followed by all employees.

  • Perform a wide variety of tasks to ensure a timely receiving and organization of product being delivered to the kitting production area. 

  • Compiles and maintains information to expedite movement of materials according to schedule and priorities.  

  • Locate, coordinate and expedite the flow of kitting materials, in-process materials and components within the kitting department.  

  • Verify and maintain documentation.  

  • Coordinate materials through appropriate channels.  

  • Provide information to various departments regarding status. 

  • Apply knowledge of department policies and procedures, and utilizes a general understanding of other departments' functions. 

  • Responsible for data entry, reporting, checking or verifying of information, generation of reports and responding to data requests, document received items via specific warehouse programs.

  • Train others in new processes and lean methodologies

Qualifications

  • Skill in reading specifications and identifying the correct parts for fulfilling customer orders.

  • Excellent knowledge of routine and non-routine packing procedures, techniques, equipment, and basic warehouse procedures.  

  • Knowledge of shipping documents and ability to identify shipping requirements and procedures for specific items using manual or automated processes. 

  • Ability to complete manual and computerized forms and shipping documents regarding stock description, units of issue, weight, quantity, and labeling requirements outgoing materials and equipment. 

  •  Requires basic arithmetic and standard formulas to determine size and volume of packing containers and materials.  

  • Ability to assemble standard shipping boxes and packing contents securely. Ability to read, interpret and generate Monarch job tickets.

  • Other duties as assigned

  • 2-5 years work history in a manufacturing environment required; experience in printing environment preferred.  

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.

  • Must be able to lift, pull and push up to 60 pounds frequently.

  • Must be able to bend, reach and turn frequently.

  • Must be able to stand and move about the facility

Additional Information

**CLIMATE CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT**

The national pay range for this role is $17.65 - $26.55. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
