Position Overview

RTFNetwork is seeking a Licensed Psychologist (PRN) to support our OMHC program through psychological assessment, psychotherapy, and clinical supervision. The psychologist will play an important role in diagnostic evaluation, treatment planning, and supervising Psychology Associates while collaborating with an interdisciplinary clinical team. This position offers flexible scheduling and provides opportunities for leadership, mentorship, and involvement in the development of psychological services within a growing behavioral health organization. The role is ideal for an experienced psychologist seeking to contribute to clinical excellence while making a meaningful impact in the community.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychological assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and testing services for children, adolescents, and adults, as clinically appropriate.
  • Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy using evidence-based practices.
  • Diagnose mental health conditions in accordance with the DSM-5-TR.
  • Develop and review treatment plans aligned with medical necessity and client-centered goals.
  • Provide clinical supervision to Psychology Associates in accordance with Maryland regulations and organizational policy.
  • Supervise Psychology Associates and support their professional development through clinical consultation and guidance.
  • Review and co-sign clinical documentation completed by supervised staff, as required.
  • Participate in case consultations, treatment-team meetings, and clinical staffing.
  • Collaborate with PMHNPs, LCSW-Cs, LCPCs, PRP staff, Supported Employment specialists, and organizational leadership as part of an interdisciplinary treatment model.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation in the EHR systems (TheraNest and Blueprint).
  • Maintain compliance with COMAR, Medicaid, and OMHC requirements.
  • Adhere to ethical standards consistent with the APA Ethics Code.


Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
    • Active Maryland Psychologist license in good standing.
    • Eligibility and willingness to supervise Psychology Associates.
    • Experience with psychological assessment, diagnosis, and psychotherapy.
    • Strong documentation, organizational, and clinical judgment skills.


Preferred Experience

  • Experience supervising postdoctoral or provisionally licensed clinicians.
    • Familiarity with Medicaid and OMHC services.
    • Training in trauma-informed care, CBT, DBT, or other evidence-based modalities.
    • Experience with EHR systems and outcomes-based assessment tools.
