Job Description
REQUIREMENTS:
- Total experience 6+ years.
- Must have5-8 years of experience as a System Analyst or similar role, with exposure to large scale banking or financial services programs.
- Should be able to understand the business requirements comprehensively and develop functional requirements based on the product/platform on which the solution is going to be deployed.
- Should be able to work with the solution architect to ensure all requirements are addressed by the solution as per business expectations.
- Should be able to develop test cases, test data and assist in functional testing
- Should be able to develop functional requirements, based on business requirements, and identify the non-functional requirements for the solution architect.
- Should have proven experience delivering core banking or deposits-related integrations, including CASA and/or Time Deposit products.
- Should be part of the execution team for a minimum of 3 projects, and should have worked end-to-end on those projects from requirements gathering to deployment.
- Should have past experience with managing multi-stakeholder projects.
- Should be able to understand the high-level processes, products and integration patterns in financial services.
- Should be able to clearly articulate business requirements, functional requirements and nonfunctional requirements.
- Should be able to translate requirements to testable requirements and write test cases and test outcome for each requirement.
- Should have ability to effectively communicate business needs to the technology teams.
- Should have strong documentation skills, with experience producing interface specifications, data mappings, and integration artifacts.
- Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understand the product features and out-of-box requirements and map these to the functional requirements.
- Mapping decisions with requirements and be able to translate the same to developers.
- Identify any gaps in business requirements and follow up with end-users to detail the integration requirements.
- Explain to business users how the proposed solution will address their business requirements.
- Develop a deeper understanding of the business processes, business organization, and expected business outcomes.
- Conduct fit-gap analysis on products and develop reasonable working alternatives.
- Support the product evaluation during the service definition phase.
- Manage the changes in functional and non-functional requirements.
- Assist in conducting functional testing.
- Ensure the operational support processes are aligned with the business objectives and stated business requirements.
- Plan and coordinate applications functional testing of assigned projects based on direction from the delivery manager.
- Test systems, report on results, and track defects in coordination with business and IT
- Assure quality of delivered applications and their compliance with the functional and technical requirements.
- Administer test execution and result reporting in compliance with IT policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Regulate and maintain testing documents (test cases, testing plans and reports)
- Report results and defects in a timely manner to business and IT, and work closely with them to develop solutions
- Provide testing expertise, direction and assistance to all stakeholders
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
