About this role

WHO WE ARE

Noora Health Bangladesh is part of Noora Health’s broader mission to improve health outcomes and strengthen health systems by equipping family caregivers with essential skills to care for their loved ones.

Founded in 2014, Noora Health turns hospital hallways and waiting rooms into classrooms by tapping into the most compassionate resources available for the patient’s care: their own family.

With support from governments and partners in India, Bangladesh, Indonesia, and Nepal, Noora Health has trained more than 51.4 million caregivers and patients across 16,000+ facilities using their flagship caregiver education and training curriculum, the Care Companion Program (CCP).

In a cohort of patients, the CCP reduced post-surgical cardiac complications by 71%, maternal complications by 12%, newborn complications by 16%, and newborn mortality by 18%.

Noora Health is an Audacious Project Grantee and received the Skoll Foundation Award for Social Innovation. To learn more, watch our TED TalkSkoll feature, or read about our partnership with the World Health Organization.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Care Companion Program (CCP) continues to expand its engagement with government health systems, the complexity of program priorities, timelines, and interdependencies has increased. The Senior Associate, Government Relations will support the Roadmap Management team in bringing greater clarity, structure, and consistency to program planning, tracking, and delivery.

The role will work closely with the Roadmap Lead to ensure that the program roadmap is clearly defined, realistic, and aligned with organizational priorities. This position will help bridge strategic planning and day-to-day execution by strengthening tracking mechanisms, coordinating across teams, and ensuring timely progress on key milestones. The role will also support leadership visibility into program progress by proactively monitoring dependencies, identifying risks, and helping teams address potential delays early.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Act as the primary liaison for coordination with the NGO Affairs Bureau (NGOAB) Section desk.
  • Draft accurate official letters, correspondence, and government reports in both Bengali and English.
  • Ensure timely submission and follow-up of required documents with relevant government authorities.
  • Maintain organized records of all government communications, including proper documentation, meeting minutes, key decisions, and archiving.
  • Coordinate logistical and administrative support for government meetings, workshops, seminars, and partner engagements.
  • Prepare and process Payment Request Forms (PRFs), fund requests, participant lists, and honorarium documentation for internal and external events.
  • Draft internal key decisions and meeting minutes to bring necessary changes in roadmap execution.
  • Conduct necessary visits to relevant government offices as needed.
  • Participate in joint field visits with cross-functional teams to support program needs and other relevant objectives.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Development Studies, or related fields.
  • 4–6 years of experience in program management, operations, project coordination, or execution-focused roles.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting complex, multi-stakeholder programs, preferably within public health, government systems, or development sectors.
  • Background in partnership management is an advantage.
  • Strong execution mindset with a high degree of ownership, accountability, and follow-through.
  • Excellent organisational skills — able to manage details, timelines, and dependencies across multiple teams and projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to connect strategic priorities with day-to-day operational realities.
  • Clear, structured communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity, shifting priorities, and a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and project management tools such as Trello, Asana, or Jira.
  • Proficiency in Bangla and English is required, as the role involves direct engagement with local government, community stakeholders, and internal teams across geographies.
