FULL-TIME OPPORTUNITY,  Hours vary between 8 am & 6:30 M-F, occasional Saturday mornings

Compensation: Starting at $17 per hour, depending on experience.

Job Description

1. Under the supervision of a pharmacist, and in accordance with State and Federal Laws, fills prescriptions for and assists with daily fills as directed.
2. Effectively operates the Pharmacy computer system to ensure timely and accurate prescription documentation and billing.
3. Orders supplies and prescription medications under the direction of the Pharmacist.
4. Maintains pharmacy Pyxis system, restocks outdates, restocks meds on a daily basis.
5. Answer call center phones, call insurance companies, enter prescriptions into the pharmacy system, fulfill prescriptions into packaging and stage for delivery.
6. Accurately maintains inventory and assists with yearly pharmacy inventory.

Qualifications

1. High School diploma or its equivalent and registration through the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy.
2. Prior experience as a pharmacy technician/data entry technician with good working knowledge of reviewing and entering prescription orders preferred.
3. Proficient computer skills necessary for data entry, reporting, including documentation and billing.  An ideal candidate would have experience with PrimeCare/QS1 Pharmacy operations system and have some exposure to Pharmacy Automation (ie. TCGRx)
4. Must possess a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
