Junior Accountant
Morris County, NJ
45-50K + bonus
Our client, a real estate firm located in Morris County New Jersey, has an immediate need for a Junior Accountant.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with monthly closing
- Manage and analyze the daily finance and accounting activity consisting of A/R & A/P
- Various account reconciliations, maintenance and analysis
- Accrual analysis and processing
- Assist with the preparation of A/P, A/R and GL analysis
- Generation, reporting and analysis of monthly/quarterly/annual financials
- Conduct in accordance with GAAP Maintain and development knowledge of accounting principles
- Participate in special projects as assigned
- Various assignments and project as assigned
Required Skills:
- 1-3 years accounting experience in General Accounting.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Demonstrates a solid understanding of accounting principals and general accounting
- Must have very good verbal communications and interpersonal skills
- Must be Proficient in Microsoft Office (excel, word, powerpoint).
- Detail oriented with an emphasis on accuracy and clarity
Able to meet deadlines and work under aggressive time constraints
