Job Overview:
This position will report to the director of finance and work closely with our senior accountant. Candidate should possess strong organizational, leadership and analytical skills. The position will require the individual to think independently and easily adapt to ever changing assignments. The candidate will be required to assist with general ledger functions and monthly close, as well as, work on financial reporting and analysis.

Staff/Sr Accountant Job Description:
" Preparing financial statements and analysis of expense and balance sheet accounts
" Involvement in the month-end close and preparation of journal entries and expense accruals
" Assisting with the preparation of monthly management report and commentary
" Preparing forecasts and involvement in the annual budget process
" Various analyses including actual vs. budget variance explanations.
" Assisting with presentations including quarterly reviews, forecast and budget presentations for our board of directors
" Daily and weekly reports including sales and cash reports for management
" Involvement in the year-end audit and supporting schedules related to audit
" Other special projects and reports requested by upper management
" Preparation of bank reconciliations

Qualifications

Preferred Qualification:

" Requires a bachelor degree in finance or accounting
" One to three years experience
" Excellent analytical and organizational skills
" Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and SAP.
" General Ledger experience
