    Job Description

    • Full-time position until June 2027
    • Based from our Box Hill office, on the lands of the Wurundjeri People + WFH Tuesdays 
    • $44.00 - $48.99 per hour + 12% Super + Generous Salary Packaging benefits of up to $18,550  

    We’re looking for a Psychosocial Support Worker to deliver practical, outcome-focused mental health support as part of the Partners in Wellbeing (PIW) program.

    This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with clients to help them navigate challenges, build independence, and achieve meaningful progress.

    In this role, you will:

    • Work directly with clients (16+) to identify challenges, set goals, and make clear progress
    • Deliver flexible support through a mix of Telehealth and onsite sessions
    • Provide practical assistance connecting clients to services including housing, NDIS, and dual-diagnosis pathways
    • Develop action plans using a strengths-based, recovery approach with clear outcomes
    • Collaborate with mental health services to manage risk and support wellbeing
    • Apply key frameworks including MARAM, FVISS and CISS where required
    • Build strong working relationships with carers, peers and community networks

    Please note: This role is not NDIS-focused – you’ll be supporting clients through community and clinical mental health systems.

    Who we’re looking for  
    You’re someone who enjoys working directly with people, solving problems, and helping others move forward during challenging times.

    You’ll bring:

    • Experience supporting clients with complex psychosocial or mental health needs
    • Background in mental health and/or AOD services
    • Understanding of the Social Model of Health
    • Experience working with frameworks such as MARAM, FVISS and CISS
    • Confidence working with complex, dual-diagnosis or hard-to-reach clients
    • Ability to work independently, manage your time, and make sound decisions
    • Strong communication skills across written, verbal and digital platforms
    • A commitment to continuous learning, feedback and improving practice

    Qualifications

    • Diploma-level qualification in mental health, community services or related field
