Do you take pride in precision?

At MCG, we don’t just bend metal—we build the backbone of mission-critical industries. From data centers and telecom to banking and pharmaceuticals, the custom switchgear and control systems we create ensure the lights stay on where it matters most.

We are looking for a skilled Press Brake Operator who combines mechanical grit with an artist’s attention to detail. If you want to work in a shop where "Ownership" and "Humanity" are core values, and where your craftsmanship directly impacts the quality of our finished product, we want to talk to you.

What you will do:

As our Press Brake Operator, you are the master of the metal. You will take raw technical drawings and transform them into precise, high-quality parts.

  • Own the Setup: Select the right tooling, set up the Accurpress (or similar) machinery, and dial in the settings for the perfect bend.
  • Fabricate with Precision: Interpret complex blueprints and work orders to produce parts that meet tight tolerances.
  • Quality Control: Use calipers, micrometers, and protractors to verify your own work—because you refuse to pass along a bad part.
  • Maintain Your Machine: Keep your equipment running smoothly with routine maintenance and care.

Qualifications

Who you are

  • Experienced: You have 2+ years of experience as a Press Brake Operator in a manufacturing environment (setting up and running the brake press equipment).
  • Technical: You know your way around an Accurpress (or equivalent manual press brake) and can read blueprints like a second language.
  • Detail-Oriented: You understand metal forming principles and know that a fraction of a degree makes all the difference.
  • A Team Player: You possess "Humanity"—you respect others' ideas, communicate clearly, and are willing to help train the next generation of operators.
  • Reliable: You show up on time, you work hard, and you treat the company’s goals as your own.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Accurpress control systems.
  • Forklift certification is a plus.
  • Vocational training in metal fabrication.

Additional Information

A Note to our Recruitment Partners: We really appreciate the interest, but MCG currently manages hiring through our internal team. We love getting to know our candidates directly! Because of this, we don’t accept unsolicited resumes from agencies at this time. If we ever need an extra hand, we’ll be sure to reach out to the community. Thanks for understanding!
