About this role
Caldwell Tree Care is hiring an experienced Lead Climber to join our team. This role is for a seasoned professional who can step in and lead a crew from day one.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage a tree crew on daily job sites
- Climb and prune trees using ropes, harnesses, and professional climbing systems
- Safely perform complex tree removals and rigging operations
- Operate chainsaws, chippers, and other tree care equipment
- Plan each job with safety and efficiency in mind
- Communicate clearly with crew members and support a strong safety culture
- Leave each job site clean and completed to company standards
What We’re Looking For
- 10 or more years of experience in the tree care industry
- At least 5 years of experience leading a tree crew
- CDL Class A or B required
- Proven climbing experience using modern systems and rigging techniques
- Strong leadership and decision making skills on job sites
- Ability to step into a crew lead role immediately with little to no training
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
