AGUP Phase 2 is the major full field development. It involves drilling around 221 wells, feeding a new built CPF,  with a capacity of 210 kbopd. Oil will flow respectively at 60 to 80 kbopd from Yamama (~100 MMscfd) and 150 to 130 kbopd from LP reservoirs (~30 MMscfd).

AGUP2 project will be developed with the objective to maximize economical results, with a particular focus on the CAPEX, while maintaining the technical quality of the installations, with high H3SE requirements and focus. The project development include several interfaces with other projects (mainly AGUP ph1, GMP and CSSP) which shall be managed in an optimized and agile manner.

The country context is complex due to several factors and risks to be mitigated all along the project. Particular attention will be paid to the safety culture enhancement and to the local content that will be a key factor for the project success.

Job Description

MISSIONS & ACTIVITIES

  • The main missions and activities of the Job Holder are as follows:
  • Be a proactive and team-spirit driven member of the CPF-2 Site Construction team,
  • Participate in the review and approval of site construction procedures/method statements. Identify and make recommendations as to areas for improvement in constructability related issues,
  • Ensure Contractors compliance to the technical and safety/environmental Contract requirements,
  • Maintain good relationships with Contractors, being flexible enough where relevant (strive to achieve value at every opportunity) but also enforce rigorously procedures when required,
  • Supervise and control the PVV activities performed by the CPF-2 Site Contractors,
  • Check fitness of the Contractors construction equipment (report any HSE issues) and adequacy of Contractor personnel mob/demob for each activity he is in charge of supervising,
  • Report any Quality Control issues to the CPF-2 Site Quality QC team for proper resolution,
  • Monitor and track the progress of PVV activities. Provide inputs and report issues to the CPF-2 Site Construction and Project Support team,
  • Facilitate the management/resolution of short-term co-activities issues,
  • Provide inputs to the field engineering group to ensure timely resolution of engineering issues that materialize at Site level,
  • Assist in reviewing optimizing short/medium term construction sequences for the benefit of the overall construction schedule and potential recovery plans,
  • Participate in meetings with Contractors and Affiliate’s departments as required,
  • Promote and support a positive safety culture within the CPY Site Team and with the Contractors,
  • Act as an example in all H3SE aspects concerned by the AGUP-2 activities in the Site area (including surrounding communities’ areas),
  • Adopt and demonstrate exemplary behavior with regards to Ethics and Project “code of conduct” policy,
  • Observe strict confidentiality in the performance of his duties, all along the course of the Project,
  • Carry out any other duties or tasks that may be required by the position.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Ensure that CPY Policies, rules, guidelines and procedures are enforced at Site,
  • Ensure short/medium term monitoring of Contractors activities under his area of supervision up to precommissioning,
  • Provide continuous, reliable and relevant reporting to the upper management,
  • Be continuously aware of what information and decisions have respectively to be shared with or made by the upper management,
  • Be exemplary when it comes to H3SE, engagement with Stakeholders and ethics matters. Make sure that other CPY Site team members behave in the same way.

Qualifications

Professional experience:

  • Degree: Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical disciplines,
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas Industry or Heavy industries with similar large-scale projects and context in Contract, Engineering and Construction activities for Onshore (or Onshore yards) projects,
  • Proven track records of several successful assignments on similar site positions.

Technical competencies:

  • Broad Piping, Valving and Vessel technical experience across all aspects of major Surface Facilities project development,
  • Sound knowledge and experience in other disciplines (notably Mechanical, Civil and E&I) of Engineering and Construction for Onshore and Nearshore projects is considered a plus,
  • Vast and concrete knowledge of monitoring of large Oil&Gas EPC Contractors at site,

Behavioral competencies:

  • Ability to adapt and to represent the company in discussions and meetings with contractors and stakeholders,
  • Ability to embrace and closely monitor Environmental, Social Performances and Security requirements as critical aspects of the Site Project Execution,
  • Proven records of ability to effectively integrate a team and adhere to team-spirit rules. Demonstrate sound organization ability and work in a multi-cultural/international business environment,
  • Strong Leadership Good interpersonal and communication skills ; Good motivational skills,
  • Dedication and ability to work under pressing conditions.
