Job Description

The Site Services Manager leads the Site Facilities and Services team, overseeing all site services activities executed within the project area. Reporting to senior site leadership, the role manages a diverse team of approximately 300 personnel (10–20 direct reports) and drives performance across camp management, catering, utilities, waste management, logistics, and associated services contractors.

• Inspire a strong HSE culture and lead by example; ensure full compliance with project HSE requirements across all site services activities.
• Develop, coach, and build a high-performing multidisciplinary team; promote teamwork and support local workforce capability development.
• Ensure continuous and efficient operation of all services: accommodation camps (hard and soft services), catering and housekeeping, utilities (power, water supply, wastewater treatment), waste management (solid, liquid, hazardous, incineration), and landscaping.
• Manage daily/weekly reporting, KPIs, planning, budget tracking, cost control, and contract and procurement activities for the site services scope.
• Enforce compliance with project standards and implement a rigorous change control process.
• Review and validate key contractor documents (execution plans, procedures, method statements) to ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Identify, manage, and resolve reporting, scheduling, performance, and contract issues in a timely manner.
• Investigate welfare, accommodation, and logistics issues; propose fit-for-purpose solutions and continuous improvements.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors and operations teams to support project needs.
• Gather and validate lessons learned; provide structured feedback to the project team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or equivalent; professional qualifications and proven track record strongly preferred.
• 20+ years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a senior management role.
• Extensive background in large, complex project environments with full understanding of safety, environmental, cost, schedule, quality, and organisational risk dimensions.
Technical & Behavioural Skills
• Strong HSE culture and demonstrated safety leadership at a senior level.
• Effective communicator with the ability to influence critical decisions and lead diverse multicultural teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English (required); Portuguese or French is a distinct advantage.
• Commercially astute with hands-on experience in budget management, cost control, and contract oversight.
