We are looking for Mainframe Developer in Raleigh, NC for 12+ months contract position.Ā

Duration: 12+ Months

Client: Direct Client


Required skills:

ā€¢ DB2 (Z/OS) application Programming including knowledge of DB2 SQLs
ā€¢ CICS application Programming
ā€¢ Mainframe technologies (Cobol, CICS, JCL, DB2, Zeke, X/PTR)
ā€¢ Experience with structured system development methodologies, preferably waterfall method
ā€¢ Experience with COBOL debugging tools like XPEDITOR/CA-Intertest
ā€¢ Candidates local to the Raleigh / Triangle Area
ā€¢ Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and time management skills
ā€¢ Ability to translate and communicate highly technical concepts to both technical and non-IT business users
ā€¢ Ability to develop relationships/partnerships with clients
ā€¢ Extensive experience conducting problem analysis and issue resolution

Desired Skills:

ā€¢ Experience performing business requirements definition, reviewing functional specifications, developing test cases, and performing unit testing
ā€¢ Excellent written skills including experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word and Excel)
ā€¢ Experience with QMF, SPUFI and FILEAID/CA-RC-Browse
