About this role
TABER, the leading manufacturer of custom millwork, metalwork, and upholstery in Orange County, is seeking a Project Coordinator to join our growing team.
What you will do:
- Support Project Managers with day-to-day execution across preconstruction, construction, and closeout phases
- Prepare and manage submittals, RFIs, shop drawing coordination, and procurement tracking
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Engineering, Purchasing, Production, and Field teams
- Track project schedules, deliveries, and install readiness to keep timelines on track
- Manage subcontractor scope across stone tops, seating, and metal work
What we're looking for:
- 1–2 years of experience in construction, millwork, or a related field (preferred but not required)
- Familiarity with submittals, RFIs, or project coordination workflows
- Exceptional organizational skills and clear, proactive communication
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Comfortable working with Bluebeam, Procore (or similar platform), and Excel
- High attention to detail, especially with respect to finish quality and sequencing
