Evening Care Assistant

We are currently seeking an Evening Care Assistant with late afternoon / evening availability to work from 4:15pm to 9:00pm, plus alternate weekends.

Job Description

As a Care Assistant, you'll play a vital role in helping our clients maintain their independence and continue living safely and comfortably in their own homes. Every day is different, but your responsibilities may include:

• Providing personal care and support with daily hygiene routines.
• Assisting with mobility to promote safety and confidence.
• Offering companionship and meaningful conversation to support emotional wellbeing.
• Supporting with light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and light cleaning, where required.
• Accompanying clients to appointments, social activities, and shopping trips.
• Supporting with medication management, including collecting prescriptions and providing reminders.
• Preparing nutritious meals tailored to individual needs and preferences.
• Encouraging independence while enriching the lives of our clients through person-centred care.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

• Must hold a valid UK driving licence.
• Must have access to a reliable vehicle due to travelling between clients' homes and accompanying clients to appointments, activities, and other locations.
• Must have the right to work in the UK
• Must have a caring and trustworthy nature
