Home Instead is the world’s leading provider of high-quality, non-medical care and companionship services for older adults. We are recruiting part-time Care Assistants across Pewsey and Marlborough, including Devizes, and surrounding areas.

This role is ideal for those seeking a regular part-time position or to supplement their income, with rotas built around your preferred regular availability.

Morning- 7am - 2pm

Evenings- 5pm onwards 

Job Description

Care Assistant Role 

As a Care Assistant, you will support older adults in their own homes, helping them live independently and with dignity. 

Care Assistant duties include: 

  • Personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, mobility support) 

  • Meal preparation and support 

  • Medication assistance 

  • Companionship and emotional support 

  • Pet care and assistance with social outings and appointments 

Part-Time Working Hours 

  • Part-time hours based on your preferred regular availability (AM & PM hours available)

  • Regular clients to support continuity of care, including paid introductions to clients before you start care visits. 

  • Availability to work every other weekend is essential 

Pay & Benefits 

  • £13.00 - £14.00ph 

  • Paid travel time  

  • Mileage allowance of 45p per mile 

  • 28 days paid holiday (pro rata) 

  • Pension scheme 

  • Full training provided – no previous care experience required

Qualifications

Requirements 

  • Caring, reliable, and professional approach 

  • Ability to work independently  

  • Willingness to work alternate weekends (essential) 

  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential working in rural locations) 

  • Must live within travelling distance of Pewsey (SN9) 

Additional Information

  • Enhanced DBS check and references required 

  • Right to work in the UK required
