Care Assistant- (Lyminge, Etchinghill, Elham)

We’re growing our team in the CT4 villages — Lyminge, Etchinghill and Elham — and we’re looking for kind, reliable Care Assistants to support older adults in their local community.

Morning calls are usually 07:00-12:00/14:00 with Lunch Calls.  Evenings would be 16:00-21:00 and you would be required to work alternate Weekends.

Our visits are never rushed, giving you the time to build trust and make a real difference.

At Home Instead, we give you the time to care properly. Our visits are a minimum of one hour, so you can focus on what matters, helping someone feel safe, comfortable and valued.

You’ll support older adults with things like:

• Personal care and mobility

• Preparing meals or a comforting cuppa

• Light household tasks to keep their home safe

• Sharing conversation, stories and companionship

• Supporting with some health tasks — e.g. catheter care, stoma care, nail care (full training provided)

No previous care experience? No problem, we’ll train, support and cheer you on from day one.

Qualifications

What you’ll need:

• Right to work in the UK

• Full driving licence & access to a car

• Clear English and good communication skills
