We’re currently looking for caring and dependable Weekend Care Assistants to support clients across Dorchester and the surrounding areas.

(Drivers Required) – £14.00–£15.00 per hour – Dorchester and Surrounding Areas/Villages 

Location: Dorchester UK
Pay: £14.00 – £15.00 per hour 
Hours: Mornings, Lunch, Evenings (Weekends) Weekday hours also available for people looking for extra hours!

Job Description

As a Home Instead Care Assistant, you will be matched with a small group of regular clients in your local area, allowing you to build meaningful relationships and provide high-quality care.

Unlike many care providers, our visits are a minimum of 1 hour, meaning you have time to provide genuine support and companionship.

Your duties may include:
• Providing companionship and conversation
• Helping clients with morning and evening routines
• Supporting with personal care such as dressing or showering
• Prompting medication
• Preparing simple meals
• Light household tasks
• Accompanying clients to appointments, shopping or social activities

Qualifications

What we’re looking for

• A full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle
• Availability to work mornings, evenings and alternate weekends
• A caring, patient and reliable nature
• A willingness to support clients in Warminster and surrounding areas

Experience in care is helpful but not essential, as full training is provided.
