Job Description

We are currently seeking individuals with availability between 7am - 3 pm or 4pm -10pm for a buildable schedule of 16 hours per week. No experience is needed as our induction and ongoing training will give you a confident start. We are looking for kind, friendly, and local individuals to support our clients to live happily and independently in their own homes. (Locations: Wakering, Shoeburyness, Thorpe Bay, South Church, Southend, Westcliff, Chalkwell, and Leigh on Sea.)

Our Care Assistants are the heart of our business and provide the highest quality care—care that they would be happy for their own family members to receive. By visiting regular clients at regular times, you will build strong relationships. With our minimum one-hour visits, introductions to all new clients, and in-house training, you’ll be confident and supported in the delivery of our care.

As a Home Care Assistant, you'll be valuable asset in providing:

  • Companionship Care: Sparking joy through conversation, sharing hobbies, and perhaps dining out together.
  • Home Help: Keeping homes bright and cheerful with light housekeeping, shopping assistance, and meal prep.
  • Personal Care: Offering compassionate support with personal hygiene, medication reminders, and daily routines.

Qualifications

As a Care Assistant you will:

  • Support our local clients, ensuring they continue to live independently in their own homes for as long as possible.

  • Accompany clients on appointments or outings as needed.
