Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Professional to join our team in Bath, United Kingdom. As a Care Professional, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by providing essential non-medical support services, enabling them to maintain their independence in the comfort of their own homes.

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, and meal preparation
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging them in conversation and activities
  • Monitor clients' well-being and report any changes in their condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients, including light housekeeping duties
  • Accompany clients to appointments and social activities as required
  • Administer medication as per prescribed schedules and guidelines
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and any significant events or observations
  • Collaborate with other care team members to ensure consistent, high-quality care
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programmes to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Adapt to changing client needs and preferences, ensuring a person-centred approach to care

Qualifications

  • No formal qualifications required; full training will be provided to achieve the care certificate
  • Previous experience in a care setting or interacting with older people is beneficial but not essential
  • Genuine passion for supporting others and commitment to delivering outstanding care
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build professional relationships
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and respectful demeanour
  • Empathetic nature with the ability to provide emotional support
  • Physical stamina to assist with mobility and personal care tasks
  • Patience and understanding when working with clients who may have complex needs
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills for accurate record-keeping
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations
  • Valid right to work in the United Kingdom
