Home Instead Perth is seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Professionals to join our team, based in Blairgowrie. As a Care Professional, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to older adults in the comfort of their own homes.
About the Role:
As a Care Professional at Home Instead Perth, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional care to individuals who need support with everyday tasks, ensuring their well-being and quality of life. You will have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships, promote independence, and offer emotional support to clients in your local community.
Responsibilities Include:
- Providing personal care (e.g. dressing, bathing, and grooming)
- Assisting with mobility and physical activities
- Offering companionship and emotional support
- Helping with light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Supporting medication reminders and managing appointments
- Promoting clients' independence, dignity, and respect
Who We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in care is beneficial, but not essential – full training will be provided
- A kind and compassionate nature with a desire to make a positive impact
- Strong communication skills and reliability
- A willingness to learn and follow care plans
- Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team
- A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle
