About the Role
Expat Explore is seeking a motivated and customer-focused B2C Sales Consultant to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for converting inbound leads into confirmed bookings by engaging with prospective travellers across phone, email, and chat. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will guide customers through the booking process, provide personalized travel recommendations, and maximize revenue opportunities through upselling optional excursions and additional services.
This is a results-driven position where success is measured by your ability to deliver exceptional customer experiences while consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Conversion
- Engage with inbound leads via phone, email, and chat using Freshdesk and Freshsales.
- Re-engage potential customers through proactive follow-up on cart abandonments.
- Utilize Calendly to schedule consultations with interested travellers.
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets by converting inquiries into bookings.
- Drive incremental revenue through effective upselling of optional excursions and add-ons.
Customer Engagement & Service
- Build trust and establish strong relationships with prospective travelers by understanding their needs and providing expert guidance.
- Deliver timely, personalized, and engaging communications to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Respond to all inquiries within agreed service-level timelines.
Performance & Productivity
- Maintain a daily interaction volume of 30+ across outbound calls, inbound calls, chats, and emails.
- Accurately document all interactions, leads, and follow-ups in Freshdesk/Freshsales.
- Actively participate in training and continuous learning to enhance sales techniques and product knowledge.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in B2C sales, within the travel or tourism industry.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and persuade.
- Strong relationship-building abilities and a consultative sales approach.
- Demonstrated success in objection handling and closing sales.
- Proactive, target-oriented, and motivated by exceeding goals.
- Competent in CRM and sales tools such as Freshdesk, Freshsales, and Calendly.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
