Weekend Care Workers needed

Company Description

• Days: Sat Or Sunday. Work either day, work both days! (will also accept alternate weekends) Happy to accommodate every individual.
• We are offering the following shift patterns: The 6 hour: (early) 8.00 am - 1.00 pm OR (late) 1.00 pm - 6.00 pm. And the 12 hour shift pattern: 8.00 am - 8.00 pm. Recruiting for multiply people. 
• Guaranteed pay, guaranteed hours.
• Salary: £13.00 per hour. Extras include paid travel time at £11.44 per hour and 30p per mile for fuel allowance. 
• Double bank holiday rates
• Car not essential, however is preferable.
• Full paid training and client shadowing provided before you start. 
• We cover areas in Northwest Kent. 
• Offers subject to: Training, Enhanced DBS, and references
• Minimum of 1 hour client visits. No rushing just quality care.

Job Description

Assisting elderly individuals on a one to one basis to maintain and promote independent living. Each of our client's have a care plan and activities that are tailored to their way of life. However you will be trained in the following aspects of care and be willing to support both male and females with these services:

• Personal hygiene care
• Administering, prompting and managing medication
• Manual handling and assisting with mobility
• Food preparation, nutrition and hydration
• Social activities and safe exercise
• Running external activities such as shopping trips and attending appointments
• Logging visit notes and liaising with the office
• Promoting healthy and happy lifestyle
• Light housekeeping 
• Most importantly building relationships and providing companionship

Please note these activities will vary from one individual to the next, no client is the same and that makes for an interesting and stimulating environment. 

Home Instead Care workers travel from their own home to their clients in the towns and villages surrounding where you live. For this reason having transportation is preferable. You will be provided with full training.
