Job Description

Our Client is 92 years Young and was living independently until Recently, . Her mobility has declined since being in hospital and her daughters are very surprised to find how much support their mother needs.  She is now thought to have had a stroke or mini-stroke and they have discovered she has lost her vision on her left side. She is currently not really eating very much but is drinking fluids.  A four wheeled walker is arriving and a wheelchair is available for outdoors.

Main live-in duties will be:

• Flannel strip wash
• Assisting to toilet – passing toilet roll / adjusting clothing
• Hair wash
• Drink / food prep (minimal food prep as one of the daughters will take care of that when they are there – which will be often – they have upstairs use).
• £35pw food allowance for Live-in
• Water plants – using watering can/bucket as currently a hose pipe ban
• Light cleaning / tidying / straightening up

Qualifications

Previous care experience is required
