Trade Marketing Manager - Toters Fresh
About this role
The Trade Marketing Manager will play a key strategic role in driving alignment and coordination between the Commercial and Marketing functions across Toters Fresh. The role is responsible for ensuring the effective planning, prioritization, and execution of commercial and marketing initiatives aimed at supporting business growth, category performance, customer acquisition, and retention.
Acting as the primary bridge between the Commercial and Marketing teams, the Trade Marketing Manager will lead the development and execution of category visibility plans, supplier activations, promotional campaigns, and customer engagement initiatives while ensuring strong cross-functional collaboration and execution excellence.
This role reports directly to the Managing Director of Toters Fresh and works closely with Commercial, Marketing, Operations, CRM, and other key stakeholders across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial & Marketing Leadership
- Serve as the primary strategic liaison between the Toters Fresh Commercial team and the central Marketing function
- Ensure strong alignment between commercial priorities, category objectives, and marketing strategies
- Lead the cross-functional planning and orchestration of campaigns, promotional activations, launches, and key seasonal initiatives across the Toters Fresh business
- Translate commercial and category priorities into clear go-to-market plans and customer-facing initiatives
- Drive execution governance by proactively managing timelines, dependencies, deliverables, and stakeholder alignment to ensure high-quality implementation across all initiatives
- Trade Marketing & Growth Initiatives
- Identify and develop growth opportunities across categories, customer segments, and supplier partnerships
- Support and execute initiatives aimed at increasing GMV, basket size, customer acquisition, retention, and order frequency
- Partner closely with Category Managers to improve assortment visibility, promotional effectiveness, and campaign performance
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer behavior to identify strategic opportunities and recommend actionable initiatives
- Supplier Activations & Partnerships
- Lead the coordination and execution of supplier-funded campaigns, visibility initiatives, and commercial activations
- Ensure supplier commitments, placements, and visibility plans are properly executed across all relevant channels
- Support the Commercial team in strengthening supplier relationships through structured planning, execution, and performance follow-up
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to maximize campaign effectiveness and category exposure
Requirementsย

- 5+ years of experience in Trade Marketing, Category Management, FMCG, Retail, E-commerce, or related industries
- Strong understanding of commercial strategy, trade marketing, and consumer-driven marketing initiatives
- Proven experience managing campaigns and stakeholder coordination across multiple teams
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across multiple functions
- Highly organized, proactive, and execution-oriented
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced and dynamic environments
