PT/FT Veterinary Nurse – Greencross Vets Mortdale

We are seeking a part-time or full-time Certificate IV Veterinary Nurse or equivalent to join our growing team at Greencross Vets Mortdale.

Our clinic is a 100% small animal practice, seeing predominantly dogs and cats, along with the occasional pocket pets. With a loyal and established client base, you’ll gain exposure to a broad range of medical and surgical cases, perfect for developing and refining your nursing skills.

Our clinic is well-equipped with:

  • Digital X-ray and dental X-ray
  • Ultrasound
  • iM3 Elite dental suite
  • Laser therapy machine
  • Full in-house lab (CBC, electrolytes, biochemistry)
  • Multi-parameter and blood pressure monitoring
  • Separate dog, cat, and isolation wards
  • Fully equipped surgical suite

About the Role

  • Part-time or full-time position with a rotating roster
  • Shared weekend roster, distributed fairly across the team
  • Hands-on exposure to both medical and surgical nursing

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • A motivated and passionate vet nurse
  • Certificate IV qualified (or equivalent)
  • Ideally, with 2+ years of experience (however, all applications will be considered)
  • Confident in both surgical and medical nursing
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Able to prioritise and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • A team player who is reliable and accountable
  • Experienced in delivering excellent customer service and building client relationships
  • Proactive in supporting clinic goals and initiatives
  • Rx Works experience is desired, but not required
