Job Description

ROLE: Drive the creation and ongoing development of high-quality television metadata by performing expert research and editing functions across more than 35 global markets. This role requires excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills to ensure consistent channel lineups and reliable feed monitoring. Our data directly powers key customers, including Smart TV manufacturers and consumer electronics operators, offering a unique opportunity to significantly impact and shape the evolution of the global entertainment industry.

This role can be performed remotely with Poland.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct comprehensive, worldwide research on TV Provider offerings to ensure the complete and constant accuracy of channel lineup metadata across global markets.

  • Analyze, validate, and implement necessary updates within the line up management system to reflect real-time changes in broadcast schedules and provider information.

  • Ensure data integrity and consistency by actively participating in database cleanup projects, data enhancement initiatives, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Scrutinize and validate Electronic Program Guide (EPG) data sourced from third-party suppliers and internal teams, performing rigorous Quality Control to uphold company standards.

Qualifications

  • Required professional working proficiency in English, Polish and a Cyrillic language.

  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong self-management and organizational abilities.

  • A proactive, market-aware approach to identify and anticipate emerging trends and competitive landscapes in global TV markets.

  • Exceptional analytical and research capabilities for effective metadata gathering and validation.

  • Proven ability to accurately and systematically document changes and maintain clear records.

  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high data quality standards.

  • Solid technical acumen and capability, necessary for interacting with internal tools and data systems.

  • Availability to work a standard 40-hour work week.

Additional Information

The annual salary for new hires in this position ranges from 65000 - 91000 PLN gross.

The stated salary range represents the full compensation scale for this level. To allow for future progression and development, new employees are typically hired into the lower to middle portion of this range. An individual's exact starting salary at Nielsen depends on several factors, including geographic location, skills, experience, training, certifications, and other business needs.
