Job Description

Hygiene Operative - Gateshead

Shifts: 4 days on, 4 days off (6am-6pm rotating with 6pm-6am)

Salary £14.40 per hour

We're seeking a Hygiene Operative to join our Gateshead site, part of the esteemed Valeo Foods UK Group. Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere to Health and Safety Policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Safely store and use chemicals in accordance with COSHH and HAZOP regulations.
• Maintain adherence to cleaning procedures and hygiene systems to meet internal and customer expectations.
• Deliver service outcomes to production within the area of responsibility, ensuring on-time, in-full delivery of clean equipment for production.
• Highlight any gaps in skills and actively seek opportunities for training and development.

Qualifications

We're seeking someone who is reliable, self-motivated, and has a keen attention to detail. Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment is preferred, along with basic qualifications in Food Hygiene, Working at Height, and COSHH. A basic understanding of HACCP principles is also beneficial.

Additional Information

Working 4 days on and 4 days off. The shift patterns will be 6am-6pm alternating with 6pm-6am on a rotation basis
