Job Description
The Porter is responsible for providing courteous and efficient assistance to guests, primarily with luggage handling and escorting guests within the property. This role plays a key part in creating a positive first and last impression by delivering warm hospitality and professional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist guests with luggage during arrival, departure, and room transfers.
- Escort guests to and from rooms, facilities, and transportation points as required.
- Provide basic information about the property, facilities, and services.
- Ensure proper handling and care of guest belongings at all times.
- Coordinate with Front Office and other departments to ensure smooth guest movement.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of luggage storage areas.
- Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and service procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor or management.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or guest services is an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, professional, and service-oriented attitude.
- Physically fit and able to handle luggage.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- High school certificate or equivalent preferred.
