Job Description
Join our team at a luxurious resort in Villa Haven, Maldives, as a Buggy Mechanic! We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient professional to maintain and repair our fleet of golf carts and buggies, ensuring smooth transportation for our guests across our picturesque property.
- Perform regular maintenance and repairs on buggies and other vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety
- Conduct thorough inspections and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and structural issues
- Execute timely repairs and replacements of faulty components
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory
- Manage and organize spare parts inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels
- Collaborate with other departments to schedule maintenance and minimize disruptions to guest services
- Respond promptly to breakdown calls and provide on-the-spot repairs when possible
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in buggy or golf cart maintenance
- Proven skills in mechanical repair and maintenance of buggies and other vehicles
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities for both mechanical and electrical systems
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools
- Familiarity with various buggy models and brands
- Basic computer skills for inventory management and record-keeping
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in automotive or small engine repair preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Experience in a resort or hospitality setting is a plus
- Understanding of resort operations and guest services
- Ability to work efficiently in a tropical climate
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritize tasks
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
