Company Description

We are looking for a Brand & Marketing Director to join Ennismore’s global collective and lead the new vision for Park Royal Hotels & Resorts and Rixos Hotels in Mexico. This is an exciting new position within Ennismore’s growing portfolio of all-inclusive brands and will play a key role in launching two new brands with refreshed brand identities to the market in 2026.

Based in Cancun, the Brand & Marketing Director will lead the planning and roll out of marketing strategies and partnerships across six properties in Mexico – Park Royal in Cancun, Ixtapa and Acapulco and Rixos in Cancun, Cozumel and Puerto Vallarta. The role will also own, maintain and protect the brand positioning, creative identity and brand standards across all consumer platforms and touchpoints. The role will directly manage a PR agency and content team to create all editorial storytelling to bring both brands to life.

Park Royal is a beloved vacation name in Mexico, and this role presents an opportunity to build on that success while evolving the brand to carve out a unique position in a popular all-inclusive market.

Rixos is a successful brand already established across the Middle East and Europe, and this is an important milestone in the brand’s global expansion.

Job Description

What you’ll do…

  • Play a strategic role in launching the Rixos brand in a new market and relaunching the established Park Royal to existing and audiences throughout the Americas.
  • Lead the strategic planning and roll out of the annual marketing strategies for the brands in Mexico – supporting both commercial marketing and brand objectives - with a keen eye on consumer trends and audience insights to ensure our DNA is clear but our ideas and plans continue to evolve.
  • Be the brand guardian in the market as new brand standards and new identity toolkits are rolled out across all properties.
  • Oversee in-market teams for both Rixos and Park Royal consisting of 2 brand managers, 2 graphic designers and a team of on-property social content creators.
  • Manage PR agencies to support the promotion of both brands across Mexico and the Americas with a special focus on priority feeder markets.
  • Oversee the creation of social and digital content that will drive local property hotel and restaurant channels as well as optimised content for websites, digital marketing campaigns and sales collateral, all with a view to best sell the brands and properties to the relevant audiences.
  • Work closely with the regional Digital Marketing teams using insights and data to help build the best campaigns that will be creative and effective commercially
  • Support the global VPs of Brand Marketing for both brands to create and execute collaborations with partners and talent that reinforce our brand positioning, give us new stories to tell and let us reach new audiences as we look to establish both new brand identities.
  • Always be thinking about ways we can evolve and innovate the all-inclusive guest experience to keep us ahead of the competition.
  • Oversee the property marketing budgets and work with GMs and property teams to contribute to annual evaluation and financial planning for all 6 properties.
  • Be involved in recruitment of any marketing roles or agencies selections across the 6 properties.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for…

  • An experienced marketing all-rounder that has a particular love and flair for creative ideas, content creation and how to connect with consumers across a range of touchpoints.
  • Someone who is as happy looking at a spreadsheet of data as they are a beautiful piece of creative work, and they can interpret and comment on both articulately and with passion
  • Someone who can chat confidently with a revenue team one minute, and a digital team the next, can have amazing catch ups with legal over a contract but also write a creative brief for a design team
  • Someone with an eye for detail – you’re going to have to love reading copy and reviewing design work and quickly be able to guide and advise on changes required to ensure it’s always on brand but also, it’s the best it can be
  • You know performance marketing and PR but most importantly you can lead and inspire a content and social media team with confidence – we all chip in to support each other – one minute you might write a bit of copy, the next you’ll be making up names for events
  • You’re never happier than when you’re obsessing over a brand presentation and even more you sell the love and passion we have for our brands to external partners and stakeholders
  • You know what makes a great campaign and what will capture someone’s attention and you are used to working with brand partners ensuring all parties get something great out of the activations
  • You’re quick on your feet – you can pop different brand hats on within minutes and not break a sweat
  • You love travel, the world of hospitality and clever branding – BTW you don’t have to have a hospitality background, but we want you to be ready to fall in love with it
  • You are kind and personable and when you work with all teams you are respectful, collaborative, constructive and supportive.
  • Someone proactive and able to work independently but likes being sociable & collaborative too
  • Someone who loves to think strategically but also has a creative eye for detail
  • A great communicator with stakeholders across a business at any level
