Job Description

As a Corporate Recruitment Specialist at FLINT, you will be responsible for talent acquisition for the corporate division, performing full-cycle recruitment for salaried positions to help build a best-in-class workforce. Based out of Calgary, this permanent opportunity requires a minimum of 5 years of corporate recruitment experience.

What would you be doing?

  • Create compelling job postings and proactively source potential candidates utilizing various channels/methods, headhunting, job boards, social media, professional networks, and industry events.
  • Conduct thorough candidate assessments to evaluate skills, and experience.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including resume screening and conducting interviews, facilitating background checks and offer stage process ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders including hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop recruitment strategies to fill these roles.
  • Participate in job fairs, campus recruiting events, and other recruitment initiatives and build a strong talent network.

Qualifications

  • Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in Business Administration or Human Resources or a related field, RPR considered an asset.
  • 5+ years of experience recruiting for diverse corporate positions, with a track record of attracting candidates using various sources, like social media networks and employee referrals.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with candidates and internal stakeholders, with a track record of recruiting across diverse disciplines, including technical and skilled trades roles.
  • Proficient in leveraging sourcing tools and platforms, such as experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), focusing on data accuracy and consistent candidate engagement.
  • Skilled in behavior-based interviewing across multiple formats, including in-person, phone, and video, ensuring a thorough and consistent evaluation process.
  • Highly organized and adept at managing multiple priorities and requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong commitment to delivering a positive and professional candidate experience at every stage.

Additional Information

As a condition of employment, qualified applicants who accept the role must complete a satisfactory pre-employment Background Check. This may consist of a combination of a Canadian Criminal Record check, an Employment Verification, and an Education and Accreditation Verification.
