About this role

Nelson 32 Hours per week


Are you a skilled Therapist, Counsellor or Social Worker with experience working with children(tamariki) and adolescents (rangatahi)?  This is your opportunity to join a values driven team making a real difference across Te Waipounamu.


 What you'll do

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored intervention plans. 
  • Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual and family therapy.
  • Collaborate with whānau, schools and other professionals to ensure a holistic and  coordinated approach
  • Maintain accurate client records and participate in clinical review processes.

 What you bring

  • A recognised qualification in psychology, counselling, social work or a related mental health discipline, and professional registration (e.g. NZPB, NZAC).
  • Experience working with children and Adolescents in a clinical setting
  • Strong understanding of child protection and safeguarding.
  • Well developed therapeutic skills and cultural competence.
