Are you a registered Psychologist with experience working with adults who present with harmful sexual behaviours?

 What you'll do

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, including risk assessment and formulation, and develop tailored intervention plans
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual and (where appropriate) whānau-inclusive therapy
  • Work collaboratively with clients, whānau, and external professionals to support a coordinated, multi-agency approach
  • Manage complex and high-risk clinical presentations, including ongoing risk monitoring and safety planning
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and actively participate in supervision, peer review, and clinical governance processes

What you bring

  • A recognised qualification in psychology and current professional registration in New Zealand (e.g. NZ Psychologists Board)
  • Demonstrated experience working with adults in a clinical setting, including complex presentations such as trauma and/or harmful sexual behaviours
  • Experience delivering structured, evidence-based group interventions
  • Strong understanding of risk assessment, risk management, safeguarding, and professional boundaries
  • Well-developed clinical formulation and therapeutic intervention skills
  • Cultural competence, including the ability to engage effectively with diverse communities and work in culturally responsive ways
