Job Description

Key Activities:

  • Create Master data as per the CDT process : ERP – SAP
  • Co-ordinate with the stake holder/requestor for clarification in create data.
  • Create / Extend Materials in the correct plant and in the sales orgs as applicable.
  • Create Assembly Bills of Material / Manufacturing BOM / Routing group assignment as appropriate.
  • Run Data validation procedure, verify and correct the material master data as appropriate.
  • Validate assembly BOM /data created , to ensure SAP BOM is in line with the drawing BOM and CDT process.
  • Record errors and update the learnings to Knowledge base to aid team training and reference.
  • Develop corrective and preventive measures to avoid recurrence of errors.
  • Work along with the Sr. team members to review and update the recommended changes to the material master.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and implement important initiatives.
  • Contribute to safety measures and company policies.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Quick Learner with sound technical and analytical skills.
  • Good in understanding and reading drawing capabilities.
  • Liaise with respective Stake holder and drawing offices.
  • Support safe workplace cultures and compliance with Smiths EH&S.

Qualifications

  • BE/ DME/Any Graduate or equivalent with min 2-5 years overall related experience.
  • SAP Master Data creation & MS Excel is Plus.
