Job Description

Key Activities

 

General Accounting and Reporting

•Full suite of monthly financial reporting and

•Balance review and reconciliation for AR, AP, other receivables, payables, inventory, fixed assets and others

•Month end reporting: CORE report

•weekly actual reporting of Orders and Sales

•Monthly Causal report for John Crane Malaysia

•Maintain checklist of provisions, accruals, prepayments, inventory obsolescence

•Advising Shared Service team on GL postings and approvals for payment upload

•Collaborate with other functions for inventory count, fixed asset maintenance, annual physical count,

•Review quarterly GST returns done by Accounts Executive

•Review Customers’ credit limits and credit terms

•Lead on Income tax, transfer pricing assessment, TDS, Withholding tax, Advance tax

•Audit lead for statutory audit, internal audit and transfer pricing

•Lead the various compliance requirements and support the establishment of effective internal controls

•Lead SAP or other reporting tool testing/implementation

Qualifications

•Minimum 10 years finance experience in MNC,

•Chartered Accountant and/or Company Secretary

•Good communication Advanced Excel skill is preferred.

•Experience with SAP or other major ERP system Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices

•Strong business sense and change management skills.

•High degree of independence

•Team player with excellent people skills
