Job Description

To ensure the future growth of our Movu Robotics offices in Lokeren we are looking for an enthusiastic Robotics Safety Engineer. You will be responsible for ;

  • Execution and/or assistance on Risk Assessments (RA)
  • Execution and/or assistance on systems Risk Assessments
  • Defining and documenting safety requirement specifications (SRS)
  • Validating hardware solutions using BGIA Sistema tool
  • Validating test reports for safety validation
  • Composing the safety related documents of the TF
  • Visiting customers sites to assist on executing the system RA
  • Visiting customers sites to assist on executing the system safety validation
  • Preparing safety related information for the document writers
  • Evaluate safety standards under review and propose improvements
  • Create or improve internal safety-related instructions and procedures

Qualifications

Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor or Master engineer in mechatronics or equal level by experience
  • Very good knowledge of basic Laws, Directives and Standards
    • Machine Directive 2006/42/EC
    • Machinery Regulation EU/2023/1230
    • ISO 12100-2011
    • ISO 13849-1:2023
    • IEC 60204:2018
    • ISO 13850:2015
    • ISO 13855:2024
    • ISO 13857:2019
  • Knowledge of ISO 3691-4:2023, EN 528 and/or EN 619 is an advantage
  • Knowledge of US standards B11.0, B11.19, B11.26, B56.5, … is an advantage
  • Experience with moderating Risk Assessment meetings
  • Experience with risk assessment evaluation techniques
  • Experience with RA tools.
  • Having CMSE® and/or CECE® certificates or equivalent is an advantage
  • Knowledge of electrical and hydraulic controlling systems
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package
  • Very good knowledge of English (speaking and writing)
  • Being prepared to travel on regular basis
