Job Description
I. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2-4 years of experience in a supply chain function
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite
II.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Understand current market conditions/trends, developing technologies, supply chain capacity/capability, product and service knowledge, customer requirements and supply/demand challenges to deliver the lowest total cost of ownership for both products and services.
• Maintain a strong network of suppliers, key stakeholders, and category team members to ensure timely implementation of new suppliers, products and services.
• Lead periodic business reviews, monitor supplier performance, review root cause analysis and resolution, and monitor supplier improvement plans as assigned.
• Develop and execute RFx’s (Requests for Proposals, Quotes, and Information) using eSourcing systems to create the requirements, pricing matrices and post-event analysis.
• Prepare detailed business case analysis and information for decision-making, e.g. supplier selection processes, supply alternatives, etc.
• Oversee and support contract implementations, working closely with buyers, plants and functions.
• Review and approve purchase requisitions.
• Engage in the diversity procurement initiative to make diversity procurement more prominent within the organization and a commercial advantage.
• Ensure all statutory, regulatory and internal controls requirements are met.
• Ensure all procurement activities are conducted ethically, with integrity.

IV. EDUCATIONAL AND OTHER SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s in Business Administration preferred; 2-4 years of experience in a supply chain function.

• Six Sigma Certification Preferred
• Bi-lingual Preferred – Business Level Fluency English Required + Japanese, Mandarin, Spanish, Portuguese, Nepali, Hindi, or Arabic
V. POSITION DEMANDS:
- Regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Appropriate PPE equipment/clothing when visiting manufacturing locations
- Occasional travel (20% or less, in North America only)
- Significant time spent on computer each day.
