About the role We are thrilled to welcome aspired and driven fresh graduates to join our team as an Exchange and Clearing Operations Analyst. In this role, you will be an integral part of our exchange and clearing house, contributing to the seamless execution of trading activities. Your attention to detail, analytical mindset, and readiness for shift duties will be key assets as you embark on this exciting journey in the financial industry.

 
Responsibilities

• Central Function: Serve at the core of the exchange and clearing business by ensuring seamless execution, stability, and integrity across all operational processes to deliver the organization’s objectives and operational outcomes effectively.
• Precision in Trade Execution: Gain hands-on experience in executing and meticulously monitoring trade, clearing and settlement processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Regulatory Adherence: Develop a comprehensive grasp of Exchange and Clearing Rules and Procedures. Play an active role in upholding compliance with exchange and clearing regulations.
• Insightful Data Analysis: Utilize your keen analytical skills and financial acumen to support the evaluation of trading activities, market trends to facilitate the generation of informed reports.
• Holistic Team Collaboration: Engage closely with diverse teams and external partners to ensure the harmonious functioning of exchange and clearing operations.
• SOP Compliance: Develop a thorough understanding of Standard Operating Procedures and ensure consistent adherence to established workflows and controls.
• Reporting Excellence: Uphold accuracy, timeliness, and consistency in all operational and regulatory reporting processes.
• Innovative Process Refinement: Identify avenues to optimize operational processes, infusing your fresh perspective for the continuous enhancement of efficiency.
• Quality Customer Service: Assist and interact with market participants, addressing their inquiries, resolving issues.
• Operational continuity: This role requires working on a rotating shift schedule to maintain consistent coverage and support for 22/5 exchange and clearing operations. Shift allowance will be provided for eligible shift duties.

Qualifications

• Recent Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Passion for the financial industry and a determined aspiration to excel in exchange and clearing operations.
• Solid grasp of financial instruments, combined with an eagerness to learn about trading mechanisms and clearing processes.
• Strong analytical skills, enabling quick comprehension of complex concepts and data.
• Proactive approach to understanding and adhering to regulatory compliance within financial markets.
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset, essential for team-based operations.
