Job Description

Job Title: Quality Control Technician

Location: Irvine CA
Duration: 12+ Months (Possibility of extension)

SCOPE OF DUTIES/JOB DESCRIPTION:

· Performs dimensional/functional inspections and tests Samples product to established sampling plans.

· Reviews documentation for adequacy and accuracy Set-up and calibrate measuring and test equipment Record inspection results Ensure safe and effective work atmosphere and practices by participating in and performing safety training and maintaining good housekeeping practices within the 5S guidelines.

· Initiating and/or making suggestions to improve working processes or product (i.e., quality, productivity, etc.);

· Set-up and/or organize QC work stations and receiving quarantine area; Generate non-conforming material reports (NMR) and initiate Material Review Board (MRB) for non-conforming materials;

· Review device history records (DHR) and quality-related documents for accuracy and completeness;

· Perform first article inspections Audit and release of finished goods to inventory; Perform other QA and related activities as assigned;

· Perform routine quality audits of controlled manufacturing area for material identification, traceability, equipment calibration, etc.;

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

· High School graduate Quality Control or manufacturing, preferably in a regulated environment (FDA, ISO, etc.)

Skills/Qualifications:

· Blueprint and specification reading Geometric dimensioning & Tolerancing Ability to use a variety of measuring and test equipment.

· Preferred Lominger Competencies: Customer Focus Timely Decision Making Organizing Priority Setting

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

· Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and applicable Quality System Standards.

· Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

· Jobs that define required duties in a controlled environment room shall include: No medical conditions preventing access to a controlled environment room.
